I have back-to-back root canals scheduled for Monday afternoon. And it's going to cost me about $1,000 out-of-pocket. At least they gave me happy pills to take before I go in.
Allison - you hit the nail on the head. One root canal was done to replace the janky one they did for me in Mexico when I was a teenager. (Shoulda known something was up when it only cost $100). The other tooth though just started going haywire recently.
Today was such a waste. I pretty much got high, got man-handled, then slept the day away. Now my face hurts.
I started it out nearly same... I had teeth work this morning that resulted in a near root canal... might as well have been with all the drilling, pricking, poking and such. Now I have to go back in two weeks for the crown. Strange... my brother had a root canal two weeks ago. Is this the root canal season?
Man, im glad I haven't had any teeth problems. I finally getting back to the dentist this month. It's been 4 years since my last checkup and 11 years since the one before that.
I need to get a root canal too...not looking forward to it at all!
