Gifts of love...

We'll start w/ the second greatest thing ever. Brian's dad gave us this personalized gingerbread house.. awwwwweee..

And now, behold, the greatest thing EVER - a $130 trashcan, complete with hydraulic lid and inner liner can. Awe yeah....

And since Kat gave me so much crap about registering for it before, all I gotta say now is BOOYA!

Humph, I thought the gift of love was Chesty McTickles wiping up the spooge in the limo.

Kat - You're SO jealous...

Dytz - ah yes, can't forget that gift of love - even better, she caught it in her mouth!! (awe, j/k, take me back!!)

I do have to send a shout out to Shannon and Shawna for searching the seat cushions of the titty bar for my cell phone the next day after the bachelorette party. Now that is a gift of love..

why did you want a trash can that cost that much? does it walk itself out to the curb too?

Awe thanks! I was ok til they angled the flashlights onto the cushions. Oh don't want to tell you what we DID find....Eeewww

Here's my holiday confession- I don't like Gingerbread houses because I want to eat them and I can't understand why people would make them and then not eat them. Why? WHY!?

THat said, you're welcome. It certainly was an adventure, and a titty bar in the middle of the day is really something....very....dull...

We sold a $350 garbage can at Organized Living. Gee, I wonder why they went out of business?

Randi - we love our $130 trashcan. It's probably the best trashcan we've ever had. The lid doesn't slam - it floats. And it's beautiful. And well designed. Notice how the trashbag doesn't protrude at all. That's the inner liner can at work baby. Very smart. You can read more about the effortless pedal mechanism and the super-durable hinges here.

Shannon - I'm not sure. We fully intend to eat as much of our gingerbread house as possible. I think the frosting is too hard at this point, but the cookie should still be good.

Todd - Yeah that store was overpriced, but I still loved going in it and drooling over all the well-designed stuff. That's where I bought my first Oxo Goodgrips product, and now I'm an addict.

Did any of the employees at Organized Living ever ask you any stupid "tall" questions? I hope not, because I taught them better than that.

Not that I can recall.. Was there a tallish portly girl that worked there though? I think I remember someone like that helping me find something once.

Hey I just encountered your $300 trashcan at Williams-Sonoma at the Fashion Show mall right before I spilled some hot cocoa sample down my neck and onto my shirt. Stupid trash can! ;)

I guess you had to learn the hard way Shannon.. you don't mess with this trashcan. That $130 doesn't just buy you a trashcan, it buys you protection.
