Figures they would wait for us to move before they built an Ikea in Sacramento... bastards. They're probably waiting for us to move out of Nevada so they can build one here next.

I don't care about Ikea really, but it seems odd that there isn't one in Las Vegas. Same goes for Crate and Barrel.
Apparently that store is about a month or something away from opening and people are already camped out in front for opening day. Apparently there is a grand prize something or other worth $3,000... that's why people are camped out so early.
But for three grand? Doesn't really sound worth it to me.
Get the fuck out, I still want my billy bookcases.
my coworkers and i are taking a day off to drive out to ikea. i've written corporate and they said they won't be putting an ikea in vegas for a while because they want to "invest in areas where they already have a business built." punks.
Kat... if only those fuckwits at IKEA would acknowledge how many people drive from Vegas to Covina just to spend our hard earned cash there. I'm guessing we make four trips a year. It'd be a hella of a lot more if they'd open one here.
I'd support the store alone on Swedish meatball purchases. Love those things... especially with the lingon berries (our however you spell it!). YUM!
