I'm Home!

And it's never felt so sweet. I got back from Arizona Thursday night, only to drive to L.A. Saturday morning for the Tori Amos concert, which, by the way, was fricking awesome. We just got home a few minutes ago.

That's not what I wanted to blog about though. I had another celebrity sighting on this trip. This time it was Lawrence Fishburn at a restaurant next to the music center in L.A. I totally walked up to him and was all, "I choose the red pill," and he was all, "Dude, you're hilarious, no one's ever said that to me before," and Brian was all, "I'm not talking to you for the rest of the day."

Ok, not really. I mean, we really did see Lawrence Fishburn at the restaurant, I just didn't say anything to him. But wouldn't that have been funny?

Man that was hillarious, and you did almost convince me. I'm mad that you didn't say that.

Was he super tall, like you? Was he ugly in person?

I don't know. He was sitting down and kinda far away in the back of the restaurant. My friend Jen spotted him and Brian's sis confirmed it was him. He was working on a show in the building.

I really did want to walk up and say that to him but Brian threatened to kick my butt.

I saw Rhea Perlman when I went for Thanksgiving. We were at the Barneys on rodeo drive. I'm surprised I didn't see any more celebs... She reminded me of my mom and I instantly loved her.
Also, there was so much 40+ women made of 100% plastic. I love the midwest, there's none of that here.

I saw Sean Penn this weekend in San Francisco. He ordered something at the coffee counter at Cafe Flore near the Castro with his entourage, then walked off - stealing the cup.

My posse was all happy, but I really wasn't that interested. But it's a funny story here, I guess.

Since I moved away from Las Vegas the only "celebrity" I've seen is Anna Nicole Smith's baby's daddy, Larry Burkhead. He's from here and his family still lives here. Other than that, it's slim pickins.
