I had my first weigh-in of the year today. After my minor Christmas and New Year's indiscretions, I was jazzed to get back on the weight-loss horse. I thought maybe I had lost a pound. I mean, I've been good, but not THAT good. It turns out I lost 4.6 lbs. I was shocked. I had to get back on the scale and make sure. Yup, it was right. That brings my total weight loss to date up to 11.6 lbs. Woo-hoo!

Wow! That's awesome! I want to lose 10 pounds! Have you been excersizing a bunch too?
Exercise is one of the good health guidelines of the Weightwatchers program. Unfortunately, I haven't really been that good with that part. I do take the stairs whenever possible and try to get up and walk around as much as possible at work, but I've only made it to the gym about once or twice a week for about 30 minutes of cardio at a time.
This last week, I didn't go to the gym at all, so it was all the healthy eating.
I would totally recommend Weghtwatchers. I've been very happy with the program personally.
This is really inspiring...and during the holidays too. Imagine if none of those tempations had been around. Are you doing weightwatchers on your own or in a group?
Awe, thanks. I go to the meetings they have at the City. We meet every Wednesday during lunch. We're on week 8 of our 10-week program, but I already signed up for the next 10-week program. If I can hit my weight loss goal and then maintain it for 6 consecutive weeks, I become a lifetime member and won't ever have to pay to attend the meetings again. That's my goal.
