I guess some guys are into that kinda thing

I finally had my one-year review today. Despite the recent string of embarassing events, my boss decided to go ahead and let me have a 35% raise. Methinks I should fall on his desk more often. (Not like that, sickos).

Damn gurl..must be nice... my boss gives me like $100 a month raises... 35% would be sweet..Maybe I will ask about that at work...

I have been with the same company for six years and I need to do the math but I don't think I make 35% more now than when I started.

The first-year increase is the biggest, so it won't be this big next year. I'm glad I didn't take that other job I was offered 6 months ago.. I'd be making -15% of what I originally started with here, probably for the next five years.

Do you think if I had you come to my work and fall on my bosses desk I would get a 35% raise?

Come down here and take ME out to dinner, you desk-falling, swearing-in-front of children TART!

Congratulations! Are you going to cash your first check and get all $1 bills and roll around in it naked singing, "Diamond Girl"?

SCM - love it! You know I roll on the floor laughing anytime you mention Diamond Girl..

That's it! I am NOT paying my taxes this year! 35% is outrageous! And she doesn't even work 5 days a week. It's not like a promotion either...you are getting 35% more money to do the SAME job? This doesn't occur in ANY other profession. F**king government!!!

But congrats anyway...part of my hatred is jealousy :-)

Woah, that's a whole lot of anger there for one person! Fyi, I did get a promotion too. I'm a Deputy II now. Also, most people don't worry as much about getting murdered at work as I do. :-)

And I'd probably be making at least double what I make now if I were an attorney in the private sector.
