Did I happen to mention that I'm impressed?

Just got back from the Violent Femmes show. Holy crap they are so good! They didn't play the song I wanted, but that's okay. They did a good job anyway.

What did they play? Almost all of the first album, I hope. And Country Death Song from Hallowed Ground.

Yep.. pretty much the "best of" album and a few others here and there. Black Girls.. Country Death Song.. Gone Daddy Gone.. Add it Up.. Kiss Off.. Blister in the Sun.. American Music.. Gimme the Car.. Jesus Walking on the Water..

I mentioned to Jake that you just saw the Violent Femmes and he stated that he saw them when they were cool...now they're not and neither are you :-P

I wouldn't be talking smack, little Ms. Sublime fan. That band died in the 90's along with its lead singer. :-P
