The iPod Shuffle Gods Are Smiling...

I just got back from Day 2 at the gym. Tonight's workout mix kicked ass!:

"In the Garage" by Weezer - just imagine the yelling at the end: "No one hears me sing this song!" (My resulting epiphany: Teen angst is an insanely good workout motivator.)

Followed by "The Finale" from Les Miserables on full blast. Nothing like a broadway-calibur cast belting out the chorus to get your blood pumping: "Do you hear the people sing? Singing a song of angry men? It is the music of a people who will not be slaves again! When the beating of your heart echoes the beating of the drums, there is a life about to start when tomorrow comes!" That is SO my next ring tone.

And last but not least, Jesus Walking On the Water by the Violent Femmes. It's the fiddle!! That thing makes you feel like doing the Ashlee Simpson hoe-down dance right there on the elliptical runner!! No seriously, try it. It's crazy!

Anyway.. there were some less cool songs in there too, but I just thought these were so randomly great, I just had to share. :-)
