So worried...

I am so worried about what's going to happen to the 28-year-old reporter taken hostage a few weeks ago in Iraq. I can't stop thinking about it.

Wow, amazes me that adults can be as stupid as that 14 year old kid that went into Iraq.

Not that I want to see her decapitated, but she had discussed the risks of being kidnapped with her mom. She was aware of the peril she put herself in.

oh, well.

in a way the kid was probably safer, being a kid and of iraqi decent and all.

I saw that. It's such a shame. She probably had the "It won't happen to me" mindset.

I don't think she is/was stupid (I haven't read the news, is she dead?). Like Brad said, she knew the risks. She wasn't stupid for deciding to take these risks; she probably just thought the benefits of her work as a reporter outweighed the chance of her dying.

Of course, we can argue to we're blue in the face about whether or not liberal idealists are "stupid." I respect her for her choice to report from Iraq.

Hope they let her go.

I hope the earth is stained with her blood.

Jake - is that you? I have a tracker, you know? It told me that the person that left that anonymous note in in Reno, uses Internet Explorer 6.0, their IP # is 207.213.169.132 , and they got to my site from yours. What kind of evil messed up terrorists are you guys harboring up there anyway??

Yeah it was me. I was just too lazy to log in AND type in the password. I know you have that counter (as do I). But in all honesty I could give a rat's ass about that bitch.

I don't think the sluthing was necessary...the comment drips with bad taste.
